Model-based planning
Turn design intent into a coordinated, constructable digital model the whole team can build from.
Why it matters
A model that serves only its author is just a digital drawing set. A coordinated digital model is the shared language of the whole project: it contains consistent geometry, complete attribute data and IFC structures that feed directly into quantity take-off, tendering and later operations. Model-based planning eliminates ambiguity and creates a data basis every stakeholder can trust.
How we work
We develop the discipline model in Revit to the LOD/LOI requirements (Level of Development / Level of Information) defined for each phase, and export it as standards-compliant IFC. We align with the SIA phase structure and the information delivery schedule in the BEP.
- Define the LOD/LOI matrix per project phase and discipline
- Build the model to agreed naming conventions and classification schemes
- IFC export and quality check (geometry, attributes, structure)
- Coordination check against other discipline models
- Regular deliveries to the CDE on the agreed schedule
- Ongoing model updates with version log
What you receive
- Coordinated Revit discipline model to the agreed LOD/LOI
- IFC exports for CDE and inter-discipline exchange
- LOD/LOI matrix and modelling guidelines
- IFC quality report
- Updated model documentation with each delivery
